On 20 October War on Want will be marching alongside trade unions, community groups and ordinary people from across the UK because we believe that poverty is political.
War on Want will be marching against austerity and the attack on the welfare state. The UK government is not punishing the few in the banking and finance sector that caused the global financial crisis, but instead hitting hard the many who are the poorest in society.
War on Want will be marching in London, assembling at 11am at Hungerford Bridge for the march to Hyde Park. Look out for our banners and join us
