Republicans Stop Felons from Voting Even Politicans are Felons

If you are formerly charged with a felon and live in Maine or Vermont you can still vote, but 11 states are banning ex-felons from voting and six are in the deep south and run by republican governors and state governments.

Numbers of Disenfranchised Voters Grows

Some Felons are Black Voters and Some are Politicians

The republican push is to eliminate as many black voters as possible, with 7 percent of black voters removed due to felony charges. Blacks are therefore targeted in this effort to eliminate their voting rights, which is the plan to cut voters for President Obama.

A total of 5.3 Million Americans won’t be allowed to vote in this election because of past criminal history.

In the republican book, a felon is banned from voting for Life.

Mississippi is one of the 12 states that has permanently banned felons from voting, which is being argued by the American Civil Liberties Union. In the new state laws, even if you were convicted of petty crimes such as: shoplifting, you will be banned from voting.

48 States are prohibiting prisoners from voting, 36 states will stop parolees from voting, 31 states prohibit those on probation. Instead of stopping felons from voting, states should be forcing them to vote as part of their civic duty and they will continue to be part of the society instead of shutting them out of the political world. Who knows, some of them would qualify to run for office.
