Meanwhile everyone struggles paying for basic living and an education, here is a list of people that earn grotesque amounts of money, for basically screwing up the system and the world in which we live.

Nine-figure salaries, tabloid scandals, weak revenues, big layoffs—no problem.

I can add the boss of G4S, the security boss of the Olympics, who completely stuffed up the job of actually getting security for it, but has no intention of giving back the huge amount of money paid to his firm or even standing down out of principle.  Did I say principle in the same sentence as a highly paid fat cat?  Must be early or something!!
