Ryan said that Obama should have kept U.S. troops in Iraq to prevent weapons shipments from Iran to Syria.



 He did not explain how having American forces there would have prevented such an outcome. Romney and Ryan have attacked Obama for ending the war in Iraq, calling it “tragic.”
