Made In USA Winter Sports Apparel Maker - KVC Sports

Need an alternative to overseas-produced Ralph Lauren sportswear? Look around. They may be a rare breed but U.S.-based apparel makers do exist. Take Phoenix, Ariz.-based winter sportswear producer KVZ Sports, for instance, which is using innovative technology and techniques instead of cheap labor to compete. 

Founded with a "Made in the USA" mission in mind, KVZ Sports seeks to tout the advantages of U.S. manufacturing by walking the walk and aiming to produce the highest quality activewear around, entirely from domestic sources.

“Our mission is to connect the people, products, technologies and innovations necessary for 'Made in the USA' to evolve from a feel-good story to a distinct competitive advantage for our customers,” says company co-founder Matt Boyd in a press release.

It's a tall order given that overseas garment industry tends to pay roughly 15 percent of what apparel makers pay here in the United States. But the company is committed to bring American apparel manufacturing back to where it was before it fled overseas.
