We know that prosecutors will not bring criminal charges against the police so the best means of making them regret and hopefully stop their use of violence against non-violent protesters is a wave of civil lawsuits brought by participants in Occupy events and protests whose civil rights are being systematically violated by the violent means the police are employing to discourage and punish people engaging non-violent peaceful protests.
