The newest encampment in oakland is in the bottoms of west oakland - its a empty lot next to a foreclosed house on linden & 18th and it was successfully taken over by a dozen mostly black youth who are disciplined & militant. they have the blessings of the owner of the foreclosed house. and they are sticking to a strict no drugs & alcohol policy. and the very aware of their rights, the law and what they are doing. AND they havent even been to a single ga - they went straight for the prize and got it! lets give it up to the youth - they make our future look so much brighter. lets support them in every way they can
