Protest Against Wells Fargo's Day of Illegal Foreclosure Modifications

This is a non-violent and peaceful action raising awareness offering foreclosure victims a "Battle Plan to Save Your Home" Wells Fargo Home Mortgage | Wells Fargo Financial | Wa...chovia Mortgage | Wells Fargo Home Equity, cannot MODIFY home loans without providing evidence that they have AUTHORITY to modify, which means they need to offer documents to prove they own the loan, that they have done things properly. 

We know that this is not so for many of their at-risk loans (at least 30 days behind on their payment.) We have a hand-out that we will be printing and giving out at this action: "Battle Plan to Save Your Home" was drawn up by an attorney and professor. 

The action's objective is to challenge Wells Fargo and its ability to sign people up on this day making illegitimate transactions... legitimate. 

The ONLY THING the banks are doing when they offer a "free mortgage modification" is re-contracting. Basically, they are converting illegitimate contracts into legitimate contracts. Join us in helping to stop this evil.
